Funding Options & Fees

Quality psychological care should be accessible. At Bold Psychology Group we work with a wide range of funding pathways — including Medicare, the NDIS, private health insurance, CTP, WorkCover, Victims of Crime and Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) schemes. We'll help you find the option that fits your situation.

Ways to Fund Your Sessions

Choose the pathway that suits you — many can be combined with a small gap payment. Not sure which applies to you? Contact our team and we'll walk you through it.

Medicare — Better Access

With a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you can access Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual psychology sessions per calendar year. Bring your referral to your first appointment and we'll process the rebate for you.

NDIS

We support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Psychology services can be funded under Improved Daily Living or Improved Relationships, and we'll provide service agreements and invoices formatted for your plan manager.

CTP (Compulsory Third Party)

If you've been injured in a motor vehicle accident, psychology treatment may be funded through your CTP insurer. With an approved claim and referral, we can bill the insurer directly — no out-of-pocket cost to you in most cases.

WorkCover / Workers Compensation

Psychology support for work-related injury or illness can be funded through WorkCover. Once your claim is approved and we have your referral and claim number, sessions are typically billed directly to the insurer.

Private Health Insurance

Most extras covers include a rebate for psychology sessions. Check your level of cover with your insurer, bring your card to your appointment, and we'll process your claim on the spot where possible.

Victims of Crime

If you've been the victim of a violent crime, counselling may be fully funded under your state's Victims of Crime scheme. We can help you understand the process and lodge the paperwork so you can focus on your recovery.

Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)

Veterans and their families may be eligible for fully funded psychology services under DVA. With a valid DVA White or Gold Card and a GP referral, there are no out-of-pocket costs for approved sessions.
